Priorities

To support the funding of vocational training programs provided in secondary schools, First Nations vocational education centres and the provincial network.

• Approval of the phase 2 report at the Special General Assembly on May 13, 2009.
• Laying out an action plan to follow through with the recommendations of the phase 2 report.
• Official presentation to Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC).
• Pressure tactics to counteract the lack of political will to invest in First Nations education.
