Parental Involvement

The Parental Involvement program was initiated in September 2003. This program seeks to promote parental involvement at all levels of the educational system. The program encourages training activities, information workshops, and development strategies to support parents in their role as educators. Since the Parental Involvement program has been in effect, the FNEC member communities have capitalized on this program by carrying out many projects. Here are some of the initiatives that were fulfilled through this program: establishing parents committees, helping with homework, theme days and educational field trips.
