Educational Services

School administration

The FNEC provides a variety of services for school administration. Support is provided for education sectors, school directors as well as special education coordinators concerning the organization and delivery of education services within member communities. This support includes the development of policies and case files as regards education and liaison with governmental partners. Other activities targeted by this service include parental involvement, professional development and management of educational FNEC-run programs. The services available under the heading school administration also concern the upholding and improvement of educational services offered to communities without schools. As per the resources available, the FNEC caters to any other demand concerning school administration as required by the Education representatives of its member communities.

Pedagogical support

The FNEC offers a palette of pedagogical support services to its members. Intended for elementary and secondary schools, the pedagogical support service aims at constantly improving the quality of education offered to the First Nations Youth. The FNEC therefore provides an information distribution service to schools, support in development and in the utilization of pedagogical tools. As per the resources available, the FNEC caters to any other demand concerning pedagogical support as required by the Education representatives of its member communities.

Training in Education

The FNEC provides training to the education personnel of its member communities. Professional development opportunities are usually published in the trainings’ calendar and delivered within the network.
